Voice Leading Guitar: How Do You Find the Sweet Note in I’ll Be Seeing You?

A sweet note (or butter note) is the one note that tells the listener the chord has changed: usually the chord's 3rd when it is also outside the key signature. In I'll Be Seeing You, B natural on G7 and E natural on C7 are sweet notes — find them, then build your solo around them.
